  FAQ'S ...

Can I dig my own trench for the loop?
No...the loop is best installed as the ground is being opened up. The trench walls become less stable
and more apt to cave in over time, creating a hazard for the people installing the loop.

Is the system noisy?
No...modern design and proper installation work together to make geothermal heating and cooling
one of the quietest home comfort systems available.

Will the unit itself take up much room?
No...the geothermal unit of today is only slightly larger than a modern gas furnace.

Will I need a humidifier?
Not usually...since a geothermal system does not burn any indoor air or pump any of that burnt air outside
as a fossil fuel furnace does, the humidity created through human respiration as well as cooking and bathing,
remains in the house. This is generally sufficient to eliminate the need for a humidifier.

Can I get an accurate estimate?
Yes...we issue proposals only after we have enough information to give a "to the penny" quote.
